SUNGSAN established R&D Center in May 2007 and has been putting utmost efforts researching and developing equipment in energy/chemical engineering plant industries. We have developed improved and efficient structures for heat exchangers and pressure vessels, and as a result we have a total of 12 intellectual property rights. With our cutting-edge technology, we have conducted business with Korea 5 major power plant companies, KHNP (Korea Hydrogen & Nuclear Power), global end-users and global EPCs.

The R&D Center is doing its best to be in line with the company's management motto, "Seeking customers' satisfaction by practicing carbon neutrality", and our goal is to make the company become a eco-friendly company as conducting various projects; Development of Greenhouse Gas Reduction Methanol Synthesis Technology, Hydrogen Co-firing and Hydrogen Storage/Transportation/Supply System Development.
